what you just need are supporters that can go to various points of the marathon route, with ice boxes of frozen 100 plus cans and those energy jellies.
I did it for a friend who request I do it. And he says he was the envy of the fellow marathoners around him.
He even jiggle the cans with still the frozen 100 plus just to make people jealous.

there are many many water points with all sort of drinks at running events, why need people to wait by the wayside ? ....

what I need is proper, consistant training. but at this moment, I can barely finish 10k comfortably. and I'm not sure how much time I'm going to need to be able to work up to double the distance. in any case, long distance running is not my thing
