  Morning folks

  I'm on leave today but I have so many chores to be done!

  Btw as I had asked in Night Owls, anyone want my 200 plus, more or less Archie Comics collection? The books are in various conditions, some brand new, others in good condition but old due to the years with me and some in really poor condition.

  i'd grab them but i've got my own mess to clear

  e-Bay is the answer.. you might get enough to buy another fish or at least some turtle food for your turtles

  I don't think they are worth anything TBH

  Ebay takes too much time.

  I was thinking just put it at the void deck with a sign that says "Free Archie Comics"

  I'm too lazy to drag it to the 2nd hand bookstore at my place coz it's like super heavy :X

  is there like a daycare centre around there? or at least one of those centres for the primary and sec school students to hang out at?

  they'd love those..

  failing which, a mama barber shop would love those too

  Well there is a Primary school near my place and there is a Metta School near my place too

  I can ask if they want

  Well you can come over to grab them :P

  I posted it on ' Pass it On' so if they are going to collect anytime than I get it back from you for them.

  I think they will most probably sell them for funds since they are a charity organization.

  It's 200 or more Archie Comics. I didn't bother to count but they filled up an extra large red plastic bag...the bigger kind..

  I was going to suggest giving them all to a children's home but any charitable organisation would love to have them.  Do you have a Salvation Army outlet in your neighbourhood?  They'd probably love to have them too.

  Some of these comics have been with me since my Primary school days but they are in good condition save for a few falling apart

  Most are old but in good condition

  I figure they should know what to do with it

  Jughead?  Really?    I don't think I have any favourite characters in Archie.  I do have an Aussie friend IRL who's named "Veronica" and she's a redhead, OTT character who demands attention all the time.    Everything is about her.  She'd talk to me in the middle of a lecture and I'll keep my eyes fixed on the lecturer and just nod to her in acknowledgement and she'll squeal in my ear, "Why are you ignoring me?!"   In my mind, I'm like, "We're in class, it's time to pay attention to the lessons, smurfette!  That's why we're in class!"  

  I do love Winnie the Pooh and my favourite characters are Pooh and the very adorable and whiney donkey... oh gosh... sudden amnesia... what's the ass' name?!

  Take a photo before giving them away for sentimental reasons. 

  Seriously, are  you sure you want to give them away?  Your kids might enjoy reading them and sharing them with their classmates!  I remember when dad brought down his collection of the Twilight Zone comics and the Superheroes comics, my brother and I had a swell time reading them!  And when an uncle gave his entire collection of Cor! _ Dennis the Menace comics, it felt like we had hit payload!
