  I want to hide in the Melbourne Aquarium.  AUD 30.00 to stay indoors in good air-conditioning, hiding away from the heat wave, and also getting to look at the new penguins there.    I wanna sit in the Fishbowl once more and just zone out.

  I spent half a day with my baby niece yesterday and I felt pretty exhausted after that.    They like cannot sit still, won't listen to you, you have to watch them every second because they will easily injure themselves or put anything and everything into their mouths, they crawl all over on dirty surfaces, and then they put their fists into their mouths!    They chew anything and everything, they are finicky, one moment laugh, next second cry, and the whole world stops when a baby cries.   

  I kept nagging my bro to keep baby indoors in the air-con because of the heat wave.  Yesterday, we went out to the Suzuki Night Market when it got 'cooler' but it was still 37 deg C or more, and poor baby got flushed cheeks.  Poor baby also has a peeling nose from getting mildly sunburnt a few days ago.  Haiz... I nagged about the sunblock as well. 

  No wonder anyone who looks after babies 24/7 loses weight.  Yesterday, I wanted to peng sanz and was sooo happy I can go home...without baby!

  My niece's parents forbid her from honey until she's at least a year old because of some don't know what spores present in honey.    They also forbade her from taking oranges because they are 'too acidic'.  Gee, I never knew these things.  I thought a little taste of honey and oranges would be fine...

  Oh Pinky, I must tell you this - last night I was telling the folks in Night Owls of how Connex disrupted train services for two hours... because the heat was so bad it warped the rails and their employees had to hose down the rails to try to cool it down!!!    Needless to say, the stranded passengers at Flinders Station were extremely pissed, esp since the station is not air-conditioned!  (It hit 43.5 deg C yesterday.  Today is expected to hit 45 deg C!!!)
