And I couldn't believe it when some of the people I know tell me they still get pocket-money.
Being at least somewhat financially independant is really more self-satisfying.
Thus said, taking up driving lessons using my own $$ is really gonna burn one big hole in my pocket......
i ran my bank account to less than a dollar when i was in the army and took the driving test ![]()

ahh.. we never had SFI..
we had cooks who scared us medics coz they had monthly or quarterly FFIs (i forgot which)
they sometimes came in with horror stories which i should never mention.. mostly as a result of the 10th of each month, they'd all go out to the red light district..
lots of regular soldiers do that .... it can't be that horrifying ? ... ![]()
