More or less confirm return to sg on 15 Feb.
Then have to find a cheapo hotel to stay in.
And I think I have a promise with someone here to go to a lesbian bar.
So how? We arranged the lesbian bar thingy with the try crocs thingy between mid to end feb?
And the marrying part.....well, it will do us well to celebrate at the lesbian bar.

Oil, oil and oil.
1. The oil in the deep fryer is a shocking dark colour.
2. They serve the beef stew in a plastic container, in addition to the paper box for the rice. I'd rather have both in the paper box.
3. The said stew had an oil slick on the surface.

A waste of resources, and it's a good plastic box that isn't flimsy. I washed it, and I'll use it as the kids' water container.

I think there are safe plastics. most of those dabao plastic containers should be fine as long as you don't add in like 120 degrees celcius stuff.
erm ok environmental, but I'm not sure about paper too as it kills trees....

But you can't put stew in a paper box, it'll be soggy ..
As for the oil .. Its understandable, as they try to re use as much oil as possible. I would think most of the food places that sells fried stuff are like that ..
Moderation is the key ..

I'd understand if it's for take-away but for dining in, pouring the stew over the rice would be preferable (personally). Or at least stick to just the plastic container.

I think they seperate it so that the rice will not be soggy or maybe it's a presentation thing
But if they don't seperate them, it would really save them quite a bit of $$ too I expect
