Couple robbed at Clarke QuayA 32-YEAR-OLD manager and his wife were robbed by two men along Merchant Road on Wednesday afternoon.One of the men threatened the victim with a sharp object while demanding his money. When the victim refused, the other man punched him in the face and snatched the $800 gold chain from his neck. The robbers then took off towards Havelock Road.
Neither the victim nor his wife was seriously injured. They described both robbers as dark-complexioned and between 35 and 40 years.
Both were wearing collared shirts with jeans.
