Hello, honeymousey! How are you? Thought of you last night. ![]()
At this stage, I still have no good news. I'm still in limbo. Only thing that has changed is that I'm a bit more at peace about the whole situation now.
Strange, I've tried so many avenues and all that, but everywhere I go, I get doors slammed in my face. I really wonder how this will all turn out... One can only be quietly hopeful...

People quitting during a recession when jobs are hard to come by?!
Did a competitor hire them all en-masse or something?
Strange behaviour in this economic climate!
Have you done exit interviews yet? What are their reasons for quitting? Working conditions so unbearable meh? ![]()
the job market isn't exactly that quiet .. people still change jobs.. just that the number of people looking for job is a lot more than usual..
there's this person i'd really like to eat with. but she didn't leave anything about herself on her blog. and i think it'll be creepy to leave a comment on her blog abt this if she didnt leave any contacts T.T see, unlike many other food bloggers, she eats at hawkers!
Morning Missy *hugs*
various people quit for various reasons ..
can't stop them la..

Erm... I live in a country where people throw around terms of endearment as if they ain't worth a cent so you're asking the wrong person!
Everywhere you go here, you hear "love" / "darl" / "sweetie" / "honey" / "babe" used very casually with strangers, and even with pets.
In my workplace, it's used a lot because some of the patients get their high from it.
I don't do it though and can't bring myself to do it because I feel it's insincere although on quite a few occasions, these terms almost slipped out of my mouth because you hear it so much, it kinda acts like a punctuation mark during conversations. ![]()

So sorry to hear you still haven't got good news.... but I am glad to hear you're at peace. Don't give up and keep looking for other options.
We should catch up soon. Week night is fine with me if you are free. Please let me know. ![]()

I do have a craving for some food from Singapore Chom Chom.
I have been extremely frugal, eating stuff from my pantry these days. It pays to be a packrat sometimes... I'm surprised how much instant noodles, canned chunky soup, and assorted canned food I have stocked up in my pantry! ![]()
so, any chance i may be able to find a paid/unpaid job or internship of some sort when i get to singapore >.<

Orh... quite surprising since a few of my Singaporean friends have been complaining about how bad the situation back home is... ![]()
i call the dogs darlings. they're the only ones worth calling anything.

Why would you accept an unpaid job?! I'd understand if it's voluntary work at a charitable organisation but if it's a bona fide company, you should never be unpaid labour!

Sweet!
There's this famous saying that goes, " The more people I meet, the more I love my dog(s)."
I guess b!tches of the furry kind are still more loveable than their human counterparts! ![]()
All said, I miss having cats around... ![]()
