  Cardboard seems to be in big trouble w/ e recession. At e same time I'm wondering are they still going to take in those new commerical aircraft... I still remembered they renamed 7E7 to 787 cos of cardboard

  Dubai being bailed out by Abu Dhabi means those books prev written on Dubai is redundant alrdy

  e entire Dubai has gone burst. DP World, Emirates are in $5.8bn & $3.7bn worth of debt resp

  recently Abu Dhabi went to bail Dubai govt out w/ a $10bn loan

  from articles it seems they're selling 50% of Emirates to overseas buyers...

  Emirates's thinking of having 200 aircraft by 2012 from e current 137.

  taking the mrt is a surreal experience these days, esp on sunday.  couldn't help wondering what country I was in when I was out earlier. I felt more at home taking the MTR in hong kong!

  Er common logic. When a country or firm is entirely dependent on a single source of income. And it's worse for those who attempt to muscle their political will by the use of that single resource. Eg Russia and Venuzeula come to mind. And countries without any natural resources are possibly in for a tough ride.
