download of course is illegal lah. what movie are you looking for?

The risk of downloading is, if it messes up halfway, the video will be corrupted. But they should have a download link which will last for a week or so. After you pay, that is.
Download legally = Pay
Download illegally = Free ![]()

There are services that after you pay by CC or paypal or whatever options they have, and when they recieve the money, they will provide a temporary link to their servers for you to download the product.

Precisely. Like how I refuse to pay for mainstream tools and products when you can get it for free.
Like *cough* Adobe *cough*. ![]()
On top of that, if I do pay, I want some memorabilia. Like a DVD box, or manual, or whatever. Not something virtual only. ![]()

electronic forms of payment other than credit cards are pretty much a failure. imagine it costs more for both the merchant and the customer to use non-cash forms of payment. like fucking nets charging 4%. a lot of shops I go to have stopped accepting nets. its credit card or cash only. one only accepts cash and cheques.

you know why? the MDA cannot cut bits out of the DVD.

I went to Sim Lim a few months ago to custom-make a PC for myself.
The shop owner insisted that I withdraw the money and pay in cold hard cash - all $1400 of it. I had to give him a big wad of $50 notes.
No way in hell was he going to pay money to NETS..... 4% of $1400 is no small potatoes.

and saw the reports in today's paper on the nimrods in KL protesting against the use of the english language as the medium of instruction for maths and science in the universities. nuts.

people should just stop choosing to pay by nets too, get debit cards and use the CC payment facilities instead.
