  I just learnt something new today

  I didn't know when a girl have her first period, there is like some kind of celebration thingy and must order buffet all these one o.O

  And apparently the Indians and Malays have such a custom too

  In fact HM was the one that brought up the issue coz his mum said he has to attend his niece 1st period celebration

  And he was like Hah??? Got such a thing one meh????? So he asked if we Chinese have such a practice and I was like...I don't think so but my colleague said yes we do O.O

  I think I'm on the verge of a breakdown. Work related. My heart is racing and I'm so worried just thinking about the deal. BTW, it's my off day and I'm at home.

  Does the celebs kick in after the cycle is complete? Or on first few days? I can imagine it being terrifying for the poor gal; first having to deal with the change and then having a party of sorts thrown for it.
