Dunno.But it was some real bad luck.....
I wanted to take sunset pictures on Penang Hill.....it rained in late afternoon causing a fog to form at the summit.
I was forced to take the night shots at 400m instead......when I got down I was shocked to see the summit disappear....instead there were lights reflected into the clouds above. It was a fascinating sight.
2nd day go to Batu Ferringhi....rained again. No sunset again.
3rd day.....stuck at Komtar because of the rain......

What's in Komtar? That place is like a dead town. If wanna shop go Gurney Plaza or Queensbay. Else Chinatown for traditional stuff. New World for hawker stuff. Snake temple or the large reclining Buddha, Kek Lok Si, Pitt St temple, clan associations, Balik Pulau durian etc. All better than Komtar. Me thinks.

Transit at Komtar mah....all the buses are there.We were coming back from queensbay on the most boh cheng hu bus I have tried when it rained like shit.
Yeah, we went to Gurney......that was where I caught sight on Penang Laksa for the first time.....
Chinatown.....also not bad, the food was good too.
Komtar's food was.......nothing. sigh

From Komtar can walk out to Penang Road - a few old style coffee shops still there or nasi kandar shops. Think there's an Indian temple on the same row as Gama. Ok, time to shower and toss the coin on the F1 party.

5pm is like almost evening lor.....
If the race lasts 1.5 hrs, it would be almost sunset.
