  Catching an infection is a surefire way of doing that.

  But if he falls ill he won't be able to concentrate on the rest of his revision, or even be in shape to take the exam. I'd tell him to do whatever he can, get some sleep and hope for the best.

  I thought grad exams are a small proportion of overall scores? I meant isnkt it usually assignments, course work, presentations, group work that make up the bulk of final scores?

  you see .... his exam, starts at 9am .... which .... after compensating for the time zone .... was about 40 minutes ago ...

  He's doing a taught masters, not a research masters .....

  sides ... he needs to maintain an at least 75% average on everything ....

  he crashed his mid-term at 60% .... woman problem ....

  Even taught masters' scores are about 20-30% finals and rest coming from course work. At least at my previous place. Right, time to log off to catch up on work. Gute Nacht!

  i've never deferred an exam too .... cos it'll screw up everything for me, summers are for cramming useless electives ....
