I dont know about that.But we usually use SAF insect repellant as thinner for permanent markers, amongst a host of other uses we have for it.
Nobody I know of ever puts it on the body or anywhere near the body.
And speak of powder baths, back in BMT, the cpl in charge of my platoon wanted to see if the powder bath was done properly, inside the undergarments as well.
So the trick to prove to him that it was done thoroughly was to stretch your undies a little and let go and the resulting puff would be proof.
And there was this toot, who when ordered to show just that, promptly took down his undies in the cpl's full view!
