I needed to go to the office sometime in midnight, in which I decided to cycle there.
Normally I would push my bike out, load everything I need, including my keys into my bike pouch and close the wooden door.
This time round, I loaded nothing except my handphone and some cash, phone rang, answered, forgot to load keys, close door and kum......
Silence for 30 secs.......................
next thing i could say is .... Da bian!

A nurse from the clinic called me....
She said that they could only look through the X-rays tomorrow, and that they would call me if they do find a fracture in my foot. I was also told to come back again next week for a follow-up.
Basket..... I just want to know if my foot's okay!
And that X-ray cost me $30..... dang, I didn't think it'd be that expensive.....

don't think it's a fracture since you're able to walk to and fro to the clinic and go about your usual business. probably nothing to worry too much.

Okay.... the doctor called me just now. They managed to get the system up and running, and he managed to go through my X-rays.
No fractures, as expected.
I just have to stay away from all high-impact activities over the next couple of weeks or so. If I recover fully by then, then I ought to be able to run the Sundown in six weeks' time.

do you have access to a gym? NUS gym? perhaps use the cardio machines for the moment eg bike, eliptical etc. just gotta watch for not putting too much weight on the foot. or easiest is swim. -
