She wouldn't tell me how much she earned, citing 'confidentiality agreements' with the company.

Beats me.
It's supposedly mildly alkaline. They said that it could enter the bloodstream and help neutralize the toxins and acids in human blood.
Somehow, they kinda left out the part where the stomach is super-acidic and that human blood contains buffers to control pH levels.
And that if blood pH changes by more than a whisker, a lot of the body's enzymes will stop working and the body will go kaput.
