that's what the father of another person I knew did. the moment diagnosed with cancer, wrote farewell letter, and jumped. he didn't want his family to incur huge hospital bills. -

there were a few cases that came out in the papers. the last one I remember was HSBC giving a car loan to someone with a stolen IC and then insisting the victim be responsible for the loan. -
