i think that's exactly the point everyone is making - you gotta prep and practise before an "event" like this -

All of us have gone through tertiary studies before at some point in our lives.
What I can tell you is that you really ought to take a more proactive view of your studies. You need to be able to prepare for assignments and stuff like that, and not skip lessons at your own whim and fancy.
Truth be told, I have skipped lessons before, but only because I fell ill, have some heavy-duty assignment due soon, or because the lesson is webcasted.
What we're saying is that a poly degree is worth its weight in gold, and it can open a lot of doors for you including a possible bachelor's degree in the future.I kid you not - my own gf is a poly diploma holder who went on to uni in Australia. She's now doing her PhD in NUS.
So don't squander your chances.

Ya ....maybe you think we are preaching but take your education more seriously.Do the right things all the time, because if you practise the wrong habits, you will just be perfecting your mistakes.

Couldn't get it to work back then.
Anyway it's still fresh in my mind!!!!
