looks like all kinds of things these days all based on the skateboard.. all touted to be the next big thing...
remember the "snakeboard" ?
Thalia Zucchi asks.. How Hard Is Your Thing? on Brainiac ![]()
they're playing with thermite again ![]()
the snakeboard was quite shit honestly
this stiff board however is like rollerblades for skateboards.
but i don't play it ![]()
Hmm..... for some reason, I was feeling kinda emo the whole afternoon....
I went out to town and read Spider-Man comics for hours on the rooftop of the Esplanade until the sun went down.
I feel much better now...... Somehow reading about my childhood hero makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. ![]()
Myang Li is on now ![]()

I'm reading a email letter sent by a local uni 'top' biz sch on why choose them..
e mail was given to me by one of my neighbour's kid who wants his views from me.. but I'm disgusted on how they're trying to promote themselves

Nopes....
Just that I couldn't really do much work in my lab, cos one crucial piece of equipment was down and won't be back from the repair center till tomorrow morning.
So I thought I'd just give myself half the day off.... the next couple of weeks are gonna be pretty hectic, anyway, and I seriously need a little unwinding beforehand.
gross!!
Brainiac dropped a tonne of dung from 60m to see how far it splattered!! ![]()

Ah, I can sympathise. Getting all my hectic stuff out of the way now so I can get a bit of breathing space at the beginning of July. I'll need it to move house.

quoted from e mail
"Here are 3 facts with regard to both A-level and Poly applicants, in spite of the reported overall fall in first-choice applicants to us:
(1) First-choice applicants to our School from top students increased in percentage this year, let alone in numbers (this year’s total number of all university applicants increased Singapore-wide).
(2) First-choice applicants to our School decreased in numbers overall (notwithstanding (1) above), mostly led by applicants below our cut-offs. Some are probably discouraged from applying to us due to our high cut-offs (as shared in the previous email: highest among local Business schools) being made public, as required by MOE.
(3) XXX had already set our cut-offs this year above last year’s (which were highest among local Business schools), based on comparison of this year’s application data with last year’s at this same time point.
Thus, the “lost” applicants that we do not see are mostly from those who had self-judged not likely to fit the profile for our programs anyway. We are expecting to be customarily the most selective local Business school again this year."
disgusting, cos e cut off is set by supply and demand as well as profile of e applicants for tat particular year
and like I've said days back to you, I know of 1 case his GPA made it well enough to get biz based on their so called standard cut off pt but failed cos of his O lvl past.

what kind of dung ? ....
I think the dung of different critters would splatter differently ....

Well, my prof told me to wrap up my current experiments as soon as possible.... apparently he's discussing some possible major projects with some big firm or something that he's interested in taking on....
I told him to give me about two weeks..... that oughta be more than enough, so long as nothing goes spectacularly wrong.
But knowing the luck of the Fudgester.... oh well.....
