Are you going to install a gun safe in the new house?
Thanks, MG! I never got round to getting my gun licence because my local club shut down before I could do my 5 qualifying shoots, and it all dropped out of sight. I'll be installing a safe in any case for the watches and camera gear, and it should have some space for a pistol.

The one out-of-place thing on the house is the lighting - it's all just ordinary tungsten bulbs. The first thing I'm doing is ripping all the lights out and switching to halogen.

Who's your ID? He did a fab job. I especially like the bedroom! Oh yeah, just back from watching Angels n Demons. Not too bad. Made a lot more sense than Da Vinci Code. At least to me.

it's worth the money .... I especially like the twists in the tale .... I thought things would end when the camerlengo did his kamikaze thing with the helicopter and I was thinking, eh ?! I got short changed by 15 minutes ...

Me too! I thought that was gonna be the end of it - although I had read the book earlier but it was years ago and my memory's fuzzy. Felt guilty was chowing down the wedges during the show.

That's the way the house was set up when we first went to check it out. Far as I can tell, the interior's pretty much the way it was when the house was built 11 years ago. Mrs Ged says she wants to do very French things to the place when we move in.

one giant mall where most of the shops close between 7 to 9pm and most restaurants close before 10:30pm.

my kitchen's undergoing massive renovations, they have torn the place apart and knocked a door to the movie room, my mother just told me that there was an accident there today ....
half the tiles on the walls collasped and cut one of the ah tiong fellows so badly that he was sent to hospital ....

according to the contractor, it's cos the original contractor was shoddy in his work. The walls were supposed to be prepared properly before being the tiling work can begin, but apparently, it was not done ...
he showed us how to tell .... by tapping on the tiles with a small hammer .... you can hear distinctly a hollow ringing sound caused by trapped air pockets on certain tiles ....
I think my folks' gonna replace everything on the walls ...

i'll have to ask: who put up the tiles.. they should have checked first..
