Came across this on another forum
"Guys, I need your help. I just bought a g shock watch. And I find 2 very alarming issue.
1. After you press the light, and you immediately press Mode, the light disappear. I tried it alot of times liao.
2. It is impossible to set the time for normal timekeeping mode and alarm in the dark becos the light doesn't work when the Adjust button is activated.
Then how am I supposed to adjust my time/alarm at night? " -
