My Review: The name of this drama and the number of episodes put me off this drama for awhile but I never regret watching this. I have always love history and also stories created from real history records. This drama have both of these. Whenever there is a mentioned of "The Three Kingdom", Liu Bei, Kwan Yu, Zhang Fei, Cao Cao and Zhu Ge Liang comes to mind. Little is known that Korea has its own "Three Kingdom" the Sinlo, the Bekchi and the Guogoli Kingdom. This story is about the Sinlo Kingdom that finally unite the Three Kingdom.

My Rating:
My Review: A dream of those who cannot make it in their studies that finally there will be one saviour who can reach out to them. This is a positive drama to those negative students who think that they are hopeless. 三分天注定，七分é� 努力.

After leaving school for so many years, come to think of it, I did meet some of the saviour teachers, unfortuntely I was not matured enough to understand their heart. There was one Chinese teacher of mine, Mrs Foo who whole hearted tried to help but I was just a mischief. She knew that I did not have any pocket money for recess, thus she would often sent me to her office (as punishment for not listening in class) at the home econ room to offer me food when everyone else was having their recess in the tuckshop.

To Mrs Foo, although I did not really make it to the top in studies, there is sometime that you taught me that I did make it, "To be honest and honourable in life". Although I did not understood your heart then, I did impart what was taught to me to my children.

My Review: This is based on a true story. It is very interesting as you watch the student debate as to whether to eat the pig or not. A very adult way of reasoning from an elementary school students.

My Review: I have always being interested in mythology. This 3 legged birds, the logo of Goguryeo brought me in-depth knowlwdge into the mythology. Anyway, this long drama is about the founding of Goguryeo, meaning high and bright, the modern name of Korea 高丽. This is also the begining of the the korean version of the 3 kingdom, the Sinlo, the Bekchi and the Goguryeo Kingdom.

The three kingdoms of Korea at that time were Silla, Baekje(Baekjae) and Goguryeo.
Silla was the one that united the three kingdoms with Chinese intervention.

This was the one where that lawyer was helping the students go to the prestigious Cheonhwa University right?
Quite touching as well. When it was aired on KBS World, I remember after each episode was aired, the cast(or at least part of them) came up to give some good studing tips...

My Review: A pretty heart warming drama on a little island in the south. Life on the island is simple and happy although they can be pretty naive. People are more thoughtful and less selfish compared to our city life. In my mother old HDB estate, neighbours knew each others and their doors are always opened. I remember when my neighbour didn't see my mother for a few days and would start to try and call up to see if my mother was OK, unlike times when the old were dead and only to be discovered when the corpse started to rot and smell.
I would give credit to the child actress and the old grandpa who acted senile in the drama.

My Review : History remember both glory as well as saddness. As Korea was connected to the mainland, it has a history of being oppressed by Hans, Mongol,Qing and even during Japanese occupation during the 20th century.
Class system, is one evil system that brings despair and unfair treatment to people. Once you're being born into a lower caste or lower class, you are condemned for life. You become slaves oppresed by your "master" for generations to come. This story is about a slave hunter.

My Review : This is a comdey instead. Maybe I should just read the novel instead. Just as you think you are the most sophiscated person, you fall for the most unlikely and unsophiscated person. I simple bet during one of the drinking session landed him to turn head over.

Is this only for Jap and Korean films? What about other languages? I recently watched the Hindi film My Name is Khan starring Shah Rukh Khan. The theme really reminds me of Forrest Gump.

There are Eng (Ironman), Canto(To catch a thief), Taiwanese , Mainland Chinese, Indian (i'm sorry I can differentiate between Hindi and Tamil) and Anime too although I tends toward Korean and Japanese.
