ya.. but unfortunately, if you don't stand there, you won't get a chance to sit down ..

it has a huge space at the door (to stand firmly so we have more time to look out properly and step out of bus... and it is almost same level as the payment of bus stop...
where are the yellow strips?? if it is from the bus, then it should be at the side of the door.. not inside the bus lor..
I took before also
The bottom part is ok, but if you step up the steps it's really more dangerous
Zora hurt herself??? Oh dear
Ok folks...have to go out to do something....catch you all later.

yeah. anyway, these so-called wheelchair friendly buses are anything but. most of the time, they're too crowded for a wheelchair to get in. and most people won't make way for a person on wheelchair anyways.

Seriously with the bloody crowd we have these days I don't know why they bother also
Not to be mean or anything
I would think it's cheaper and easier for the government to just subsidise the cab fares for these people -_-"
hey poke-mon
if you are sleeping or absent due to fatigue, you need to do some time management...
work fewer hours and tighten your belt a little... do some financial management too... watch your expenses because the little things like cigarettes, fast food and sodas add up..
and for classes, force yourself to do the required readings BEFORE the lectures.. you will find that when the lecturer says things, it just reinforces what you have an idea about.. then after classes, force yourself to go through the whole thing again.. make written notes of the lesson you have just been through... you will be surprised how much you start to understand... and after that, make short point form notes of what you just wrote down... this will be for your exam preparations when you just need prompting in point form.. you will remember the rest as everything floods in due to the point forms..
it is not forever... keep at it...
like i said, short pain better than long pain..
Pika, Bear put it very well to you
The trick of reading up before class really does wonders

In other news, the Auditor-General has whacked quite a few ministries and government agencies for poor spending habits.
The MDA, MOE, and some other agencies were named.... here's a CNA article on this: Linkie
just to add if you find that you're not sleeping in class due to fatigue, then please find something to occupy yourself. be it actively taking notes or eating sweets. btw skip those ciggies.
Actually I never sleep in those classes where I never do pre-reading before lectures. that's because I read the lecture notes during the lecture and only listen to the lecturer for those parts I don't quite get
But that's me, don't follow if you can't
It won't happen because all are scared of MOF, but it would be hilarious if the ministries came back and posted an article on the local rags rebutting the findings or clarifying stuff ![]()
And learn to sleep early.
Learn that internet, messengers are a parasite on your time.
When you cut out zoning out in front of the tv, or simply being online after 9pm. You cut out those time parasites that dont help you sleep well.
And waking up at 5 or 6 am, taking a leisuring shower and breakfast, then hitting your reading before you lectures.......will work wonders.
Afterall, early in the morning 5/6am, got nothing else to distract you.
