It's a good thing I'm going for my porcupine session today :(
I cannot turn my head to the right
My neck is so stiff I wanna die :'(
To this day, I really don't understand people who occupy the outer portion of the bus seat and leave the window seat unoccupied..... got ghost at the window seat arh?
It's even worse when the bus is jam-packed and they refuse to occupy the window seat.
I sometimes occupy outer seats, esp if I'm getting off soon.
If people want the seat can always ask. no need ask, make eye contact or point also can....

i'm lucky if i get a seat on the bus...outside of 6 am
we should get the CEOs of the bus companies and torture them to death

Just get them to take the bus to and from work during peak hours.
Within one week they'll be praying for deliverance from such horrendous torture.
then we torture then to death? ![]()
and the concept of peak and off peak hours for public transport doesn't apply
ferret...noooooooooo
oh well, i shall go buy my own jap food then...:(

We seem to have the buses to ferry the crowds....but not the drivers.

Let's face it....
Not many kids will say 'Mommy, I want to be a bus driver when I grow up'.

So I don't really blame the company....
Another thing is about people complaining about the lack of bus/trains during weekend, where there's the weekend crowd but no peak hour.
They don't seem to understand that nobody likes to work on weekends if they can help it. Peak hr would mean activating more drivers.
Even though public transport is supposed toserve us 7 days a week, the operators are ultimately human like the passengers.

actually the problem is pay structure. Pay them more and people will work weekends. Of course, that will drive up wage costs. But frankly it'll only eat abit into their profit and they can always lower their ceo's/director's pay to compensate ![]()

Thing is...I dont think the drivers follow such a scheme. Heard they only have 1 day off a week.
Then again, you're probably right on the point on the pay structure and darn right about the ceo's pay.![]()
I'm back from work. And you're right, wages at the top in many companies can be cut if they have some "problem" with the bottomline. However, it's never used because it's a logical solution.
cut the CEO pay?
perish the thought! how can they afford their 4th ferrari like that?

If you could recall a SB conversation, where one of those cuckoos said I was trolling, he mentioned it was a fight "over people".![]()

Unrefunded TV and radio license money? Sheesh.
But what was disturbing was the recommendation to hire school cleaners that are priced below market rate...someone's granny is going to suffer or lose her job to a mainland Chinese.

there's a reason why OT on public holidays normally pay more and people who do shift work are normally paid more *shrugs*
anyhow, doubt they'll do anything about it.
