can it be seen here? full eclipse or partial? the last time there was a partial and we had to use a pail of water to see them to protect the eye against UV -

I remember reading that welding goggles above a certain rating can be used to look at the sun safely.

ha ha...can you imagine the "tools" we will be armed just to watch the eclipses. -
i took photos of the last eclipse.. it was on CNY this year... it was a partial one..
this one is supposed to be a full eclipse

good morning....rise and shine......
my eyes now is in full esclipse.. it was half eclipse when i was on my way here.. especially travelling on the circle line.. passenger only 10% ...very song...almost fell asleep again..

He got a lot of weird looks for that, but the bottom line is, it worked.

it does.. The Science Centre handed out viewing filters which basically blocked out almost all light.. i ripped mine apart and used it as a camera lens filter for to take the pictures -

the pics were taken this year.. on CNY, zora and i ran away from the visiting and went to the Science Centre...they gave out filters for people to view the eclipse.. i went there with my little Sony camera and a tripod... took apart the filter and used it for the camera... and took these pictures..
until the clouds came and blocked out everything...
p.s. camera same setting... the different brightness of the sun is due to cloud cover

oki.. on 22 July, i will be at my office nearby grassland and set up my tripod... with the help of my colleagues... i declare office 1 hour off :) hahahahaa

oh..the filter block out all the lights. i alway thought that day would turn night during full elicipes...too much movies.... -
