i need it for 6 months actually..think a netbook would come in handy..i checked the msi wind..much superior than the ee pc..but the card slot is protruding last i heard? I checked the cheapest would be 670 at DreamPc...
the one u bought at carrefour..does it comes with a card discount? or any freebies?

Card slot? You mean the SD card slot? I don't think the card protrudes out when you put it in.... I don't have an SD card to test it right now.
Carrefour has a discount if you hold some POSB card.... not sure exactly what. Go and ask Bear for details when you next see him online.

Battery life: for six-cell battery at lowest light settings, about 4 1/2 hours.
The battery protrudes out below slightly, but that also makes for better ergonomics.
Adaptor and cables: pretty standard size, methinks.

I bought mine at the top floor of Sim Lim. Some shop right next to the escalator with a big 'MSI' sign.
Back then, when netbooks were still a novelty, it set me back around $900. But then again, they gave me two batteries (3-cell and 6-cell). Buying it at Carrefour only gets you a single 6-cell battery.

Knocked the back of my head when I was standing up again.
And went dizzy for a while.....might have really hit it that hard.

Fed up.
Just got a call from my father, telling me that I am at fault for trying to induce his new family to make trouble for him because he was dallying with a china woman that the family caught him out few months earlier.
I plan to return to Singapore, make police reports, move things around and get his bozz to send people to kill him outright.
Its that bad now.

MSI Wind at Carrefour..
2GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 6-cell batt... the rest, i'm not sure coz mom and dad uses it...
was going for $746 at Carrefour... with the POSB Everyday Card, you get some kind of 5% rebates or something like that... i bought it when Carrefour had a storewide 5% discount so i got mine at $746 + 10% total discounts...

dude.. see a doc or go to the pharmacy, get some lomotil.. follow the instructions...
and then get some charcoal pills.. swallow a pile of them.. this one, you cannot overdose..
survive on wholemeal bread and water for a day.. you'll be all right..
