  time in DB is not considered towards NS ... after your sentence, your stint continues ....

  according to my friend who was an MP, the JWs are housed separately, and are mostly left to themselves ... they can talk cock sing song among themselves, eat differently (read: much better), have a lot of down time, lots of recreation facilities, and are not subjected to drills and PT etc ....
