actually it was a spur of moment purchase. was gonna get a replacement and at the back of mind, was gunning for saucony but the guy at RL suggested this one instead.oh boy...to get this one was tough. i actually went around half the island looking for it - RL in Tampines and Novena didn't have them in my colour/size. to my "good fortune" because of a mistake RL made, they had to "borrow" a pair from NB's store to sell it to me.
oh yeah, have you got your distance marker/pedometer/podcast?

My case actually went beyond that.After a couple of meet ups and gathering/outings. Someone much older then me decided that I was a threat to the younger innocent girls in the group.
And they organised a special outing, machiam like a AGM, where I was not invited to discuss about banning me and kicking me out of the social circle. (According to them....it was just that, they didnt start the topic with anything else, or even diverge a bit regards to the topic, and that is Mick is a threat and bad reputation to the rest of the nice clean girls in the chat group.)
It got to the point, where those people are calling me up and asking me about what happened, which I roughly have an idea but didnt want to respond.
In one of those long drawn out telephone calls, where I was still bedridden at home that I suffered a bad sudden attack of probably nerves and stress giving me bad hurtful cramps.

And oh....my landlord's wife is doing the stand chart run.
I've already convinced them that I shall reprise my role as a helper on those runs.
I was already discussing ideas with the landlord how we can best support our friends on such a event.
1) We shall buy those energy jellies and cans of 100 plus.
2) Freeze them and carry them to various points of the run in cooler bags.
3) Have a car and bicycle handy to transport the bicycles, us and the cooler bags of goodies to various locations at the run.
4) Set up mats, beach umbrellas, lounging chairs and maybe books at those various points to pass out the frozen jelly drinks and 100 pluses.
5) Standby extra socks, so runners can change into dry socks and not have wet socks blisters their feet.
