An amount that will cover expenses and is still meaningful to the beneficiaries is fine, but that is the limit. But "volunteers" even expect to be reimbursed for their expenses or receive some tangible form of recognition these days.

just got made to attent a short talk about fighting fatigue...
seems like EVERYONE in the division is showing signs of fatigue...
but the ways to fight it, the bosses aren't going to let us do it

yup
thing is, for my side, i'm being even more loaded with work now that Mr Parkinson and his braindead sidekick have been added to the section... i may end up having to cover for them which means more saturdays at work when they're wiped out.. but they cannot do what we do during the ad-hoc work i have to do on weekends...
and since Mr Parkinson and his sidekick will occasionally fall behind, guess who has to pick up the slack?
