Things are good, thanks. We are vegging out, just chilling and watching AFV. Not doing anything in particular. The weekend's been nice and quiet. We just got back from 10 days in Seattle. Never again will we drive all that way. On the way up, we broke the trip at Salem before continuing on in the AM. On the way back however, we were determined not to break the trip and drove home in about 21 hours. Super exhausting!!!

On the way back, the hubster drove 3/4 of the way, bless his heart. He bought a high energy drink that lasts for 5 hours to get him through the most boring part of the drive. I just had to get us through LA. The drive would have been easier had the cruise control been working. It was acting up on the drive up, choosing as and when it would work. We called the auto shop to see if we were doing it right (we were). It goes to the shop in the AM.

It's still Sunday here, 8pm. Nothing much on TV on the weekends. We pretty much spend it watching all the stuff we DVR'ed.

Summer's been.... okay. Sissy did 4 weeks of summer school, we just got home from a roadtrip, dogs are still at the kennel and we're enjoying our last dog free day before the madness resumes tomorrow.
Kids will return to HS Sept 7th. School usually starts the last week of August but with the state being broke, they pushed it back to the day after Labour Day. And you? When does school resume? Apparently you're enjoying your vacation in SG.

Actually I'm suffering from sunburn as well from Sentosa yesterday.. HahaOh, I injured my right arm on Blue Mountains during the National Day week and I didn't have time to fix the stiffness till yesterday
But right now the muscles are feeling so damn sore and 'suan'
It hurts when I type :(
On top of that I'm still getting stomach cramps from my food poisoning on Saturday

Poor things, both of you.
If it helps, on my first night in Seattle, I ate some sushi and got food poisoning. I spent the next two days getting to know the couch very well.
What a waste of two precious shopping days. 
PS. What's a Blue Mountain?

but seriously, it's a mountain range in NSW in Australia...
in other news, i'm going camera-shopping later in the evening... officially.. finally replacing the Sony F707 in the office with a Nikon Coolpix P90

the boss wants to "talk to us" over some things.. at 11:30!!!
she just wants to drone at us coz usually, it's just tasks to do.. and it's better done over the email...
worse of all, she's got some atomic influenza or something which she's been strickened with for about 3 months already... and she's still passing it around.. the only one who hasn't succumbed to that bug is me!!

Actually I went over to Oz because MPB is there for 3 months laYa we did. No I didn't buy any clothes because Oz fashion is sadly lagging behind SG. No point unless I want to stock up on winter clothes.
Seriously the only thing I think worth buying is food. LOL
