Am finally awake....
Slept before 10pm last night. Woke up at 10 am this morning, zombied for a while, slept again for two hours and now I am finally up.
I think I just found out why I felt that my landlord's carrot cake tasted too oily.
She uses canola oil, and I think its went rancid. The western type carrot cake she baked yesterday tasted of oil. I told her that yesterday, and only just now, I realised whats wrong with it, cos I was burping rancid aka deep fried baked food oil smells just now, after stuffing myself with the cake for breakfast.

I now again have no choice but to consider either living/studying/working overseas for a while, waiting for the flat prices to come down!

Speaking of photos, I want my laptop back. It's been at the service centre since Thursday because a different key acts up after every visit. I want to upload photos of Dr Bunhead's show this past weekend and use the Wacom tablet.

Just started on hemming that green pair of pants with a darker green thread. No choice liao, my collection of threads dont match the pant's green.
Trying very hard to leave very small dot of thread at the front of the pants and maintaining around 5 cm gap inside the pants, with the threads hidden and the gap not so big so as not to catch the stiletto heels at the hems.
I am kinda back into sewing, since reading too much is making me much moree tired.
Thankgoodness today is bright sunlight. Yesterday was difficult to do sewing when the sky is so overcast.

the one time i had to hem school pants (and with a sewing machine!), it took me more than an hour to get 2 pairs done :x

made for MMS one.. but you can open with VLC which opens almost everything you can think of... -
