The loop pedals like the Headrush are usually connected to mixer desks. The logical step would be to integrate it, wouldn't it?

if you're talking about mixing as in volume control for the different effects, then the pedal can do it... at least that's what we use the mixer for - add reverb, add chorus, volume control, but we cannot do panning... we need the mixer to do it.
the pedal can do all that... except panning.

oh and if you are thinking about mixing the loop in while u play at the same time, yes it can do it too.
