I caught the movie when it came out on DVD years back, and only because the local video rental store had it for $1 on Tuesday nights.
Didn't like the movie. It was overly sappy, too long, and the ending was predictable.

Trust me, you're not missing much: Ship sails, ship hits iceberg, ship sinks, Leonardo DiCrapio goes "glug glug glug," audience cheers. End of story.

Nor I. Never thought he was that good of an actor... though his work in Blood Diamond was passable.

oh I thought he wasn't much of an actor either ... but he's become a very good one ....
catch "blood diamonds" .....
the other movie that I've watch multiple times .... was "The Pursuit of Happyness", (intentional misspelling)

I had access to a free screening and walked out less than halfway cursing myself for wasting an hour of my time
Leo's babyfaced looks served him well in the past..... but now it's working against him.
I find it hard to imagine him in serious roles with that look (read: The Aviator).
That said, he did act well in Blood Diamond.
i never caught blood diamonds as well. ok, just before you guys think i live in a cave...i do watch movies, now and again
yeah, the south african accent was even believeable.
he's done pretty good. The chap with him, Djimon honsou ? he was pretty good too.

The Aviator... ugh! Another unnecessarily long movie that bored me out of my skull. Even the spectacular aerial footage couldn't salvage that clunker of a movie.
nite nite :)
