and now as I'm caculating the ridership, gosh SBS is carrying more MRT passengers than SMRT on a per km basis
Anyway NEL's off peak freq is 6 mins, SMRT is 7 - 8 mins
The annoying thing is that the frequency never shows up on the timing screens until it reaches 6 minutes. What's the point of having timing screens if we can't see when the next train is going to arrive?! Is it so embarrassing to them? ![]()

I can safely say that I've never watched a Leonardi Di Caprio movie before... I haven't been to the cinema in more than a year now.

so this is gonna be a daily affair then?
The last movie I saw at a cinema here in the US was the "new" Star Trek flick. I'm not nominally a "Trekkie" but I did enjoy it tremendously.
My most recent cinema visit was in Japan on our trip there this past July, when we caught a showing of Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance in Nagoya. That movie was a truly visceral experience and worth every yen we paid for the tickets.

We went to the last showing of the evening, which was pretty close to midnight. If I recall correctly, we each paid 1600 yen for the tickets.
That converts to about US$17--crazy expensive for a movie, even by local standards. ![]()

reminds me of the news this morning - some mom/dad was holding placards with words, prompting the 3 year old kid to read
Sad to say, the $$ in my hands twisted my values a little and I dropped quite a little homework in return.![]()

Thank god I wasn't born to them, because I didn't start speaking intelligibly until I was 4.
