I think MOE hires a lot of stupid people as teachers these days. they apparently have problems following simple directions.
one nimrod came to ask me where this particular place is. I told him that the instructions given to him say level 1. wtf is he doing on level 2? and thats not the worst of it. somemore the signboards are big and legible enough.

He rejected my request for a quickie wedding & a quick honeymoon at a Las Vegas.
You guys just want to go against anything the females wanted iszit! Why can't it be a quick quiet affair for the both of us, relax and have fun event!
Why must go thru the hassle!
And I am insisting on only one cheongsum for the whole event!
thing i don't get is this.. at the lobby, there are signs everywhere telling them where to go.. with arrows..
the lifts have been cordoned off with those stupid tape things on poles.. the lifts have our buildings staff to bring them to the correct floor..
there are a bunch of other people hanging around the ground floor to guide them...
and a few of them managed to miss all these people around, not read any of the signs, and come to the wrong floor (my office) and ask for directions...
it's actually harder to get to my office than to get to the meeting location even without all the fellas making sure they're not lost!

I feel your pain. we have signs, security guards, map, LCD panels, and people still wander around like lost sheep with their mouths open.
the worst ever case was this idiot who came, with only a vague idea of his course title, and he had no idea the time and location or name of trainer. never printed out his course notification email either.

Thats for us.....is usually the fella ganna last minuted arrow-ed. By their department, division or station.
And these fellas are usually the one thta does not have official email accounts thingy.
Chances are, email notification send out to the liasion officer or whatever fcilitator or head of department maybe 3 months ahead.
Near dates liao, then pick and choose the possible free person and tell them to attend the course/training/class.
We keep getting people going to the wrong places......Like come to our office when they should be reporting elsewhere. Happened during our last mobilisation.
Poor fellas have to drive back all the way across Singapore island.

that's a good show ....... but another one with a lot more action would be "over there" .......more gore, more blood ....
I remember there's this one scene, this chap pumped an M203 shell into a charging insurgent .... after the explosion, there were only two pairs of legs that continued running for a bit before flopping down onto the ground ... ![]()

generation kill is not really about action, the fun part is the dialogue/ interaction between the members of the unit. ![]()
