I've always taken the bus up to KL, to the terminal near pudu there ..... and it's with like 4 to 6 other chaps, so never encountered any probs .... but it's with the dear this time .... I'm worried ...
take a cab. get the ticket at the counter located just before you leave the departure hall. these are the official cabs - fixed price; similar to the silverbird (or bluebird) in indon.

Malaysia going to implement petrol quota limits to foreign vehicles...
this is like round dunno how times they've said abt implementing it
would be funny if they say cannot leave JB with more than 1/4 tank. meaning sg cars need to spend at least half tank in MY ![]()
do they still check for 3/4 tank singapore side ? .....
I think this is silly .... singaporeans don't just go in to pump petrol and dart out ... they'll go in and patronise the car wash, to eat, to shop, to play .... in other words, spend a lot of money in addition to just pumping cheap petrol ....

they're sparing Singkie cars
Actually they wanna deal w/ Thai cars hoarding diesel

but dun think govt will allow ppl to go close to empty into JB, shop and pump lots back either.
They'll lose e petrol tax and defeat e purpose of e petrol tax to detect car ownership and usage

Ironically sometime last time they talked abt our Chinese education death. I think they're bitter tat we're better than them cos of our English so say we lost our Chinese in e meantime
Actually tbh, many of us can still verse and write in Chinese, just we lost e culture knowledge segment

with the exception of english, I don't think it's possible to be well versed in any language without imbibing cultural knowledge as well. You learn any other language together with the cultural context as well.
And you know what ... I think they may be half right. Our mandarin sucks, our english sucks too. We even lost our dialects .....
at least the average malaysian chinese still knows how to speak canto in addition to mandarin.

tat's true. but my take is tat language is kinda of a sticky issue at the end of the day. This Taipei trip, many Taiwanese thought we dun speak Chinese so they tried to converse to me in English which is not natural in a speaking flow. I ended up have to tell e service staff to speak in Chinese
Honestly our English is ok le within tis Asia region.
Tat's why I make sure e small ones learn dialect
