for once, tat NTUC Fairprice thread is quiet riao
NTUC anyway is scrapping 5% housebrand item disc riao.
Now I fear is NTUC, SS & CS going to spike sugar prices. Now the cost price of 50kg sugar is like $60 a bag and they're still selling $1.35 for 1kg bag and $2.55 for 2kg bag!

They only earn 1 over percent for sugar

Yeah.... I've been listening to the Norwegian Recycling mashups on Youtube....
I thought that Norse fella was good.... but he mashed at most nine songs at one go, and sometimes the results feel a little.... disjointed.
But this is just.... awesome. Mashing 25 songs together is already no mean feat, but making the result sound coherent is just.... wow.

As the DJ said.... it helped that most of the songs had a similar message: 'We've had a rough time, but things are gonna get better'.
The mashup 'chorus' was particularly meaningful. It went something like:

No need to worry; just get back up
When you're tumbling down, down, down
Individually most of the songs are crap, but combined this way.... it's pure awesomeness.
