The figures were generic ones, and what privacy matters are there if the guy viewing the pictures is in a separate control room?

in the beginning, they showed the real figure.. you could see basically something like a nude figure of the person..
coz we saw the technology being presented to us before too..
now they put up the new generic clipart type figures.. i think it's to address the privacy issue...

Still, the chap managed to pass through baggage and metal detector checks.
Something is still very wrong with our approach to security measures. We're behaving reactively and taking measures against yesterday's incidents, and terrorists simply find ways around them. Regular passengers, especially Muslim ones, just get more and more harassed and inconvenienced.

I'm flying from Vegas back to the Twin Cities this Friday and am not looking forward to the increased security measures at the airport. The airport's website indicates that passengers should arrive at least two hours before their flights, even domestic ones. WTF?!?

My ex-classmate says that 3 hours may not even before sufficient... and that was before this shit hit the fan.
I'm not looking forward to landing at LAX either. I should've picked a flight to San Francisco instead... I wouldn't mind a longer Amtrak journey.

Hmmm......to clear airport security fast.
Wears polo tee, jeans & socks with crocs beach shoes.
Forget about belt, watches, necklaces and whats jewellery.
Make sure the laptop and all its electrical stuff is easily identified or taken out of a bag. And make sure you hold your ticks in your hand when you need to cross the arch doorway of metal detector.
