well 3 years and 3 strokes is lenient..but at least he got punished, but why are the accomplices getting away scot free..unless the other party was at fault too but still no sense to just give them reformative training which is quite useless..

Hell, I hope the fella's lawyers will actually appeal as well.
Singapore's judiciary system is awesome - an appeal being turned down can lead to an even harsher sentence. Not that I'm complaining too loudly.
But seriously, 3 years + 3 strokes is far too lenient. 30 years + 24 strokes would be more like it.
