oh
Now you've to use e CEPAS standard cards that you can use for transit and non transit purchases (i.e. paying for purchases at 7-11).
Anyway there's ez-link and NETS flashpay card which are both CEPAS compliant

Eh... but I need to take the bus to go to the MRT station leh. How to pay for bus ticket? Can you still drop coins into the box for the driver to issue a ticket? What's the lowest bus fare?

OMTS is still used.
Minimum cash fare is $1 for aircon buses

i think the easiest is just to get an ezylink card
fark! i couldn't even do a complete 2.4km jog!!!
my lower body was aching all the way
tomorrow i will do the burpees series
Somehow, I think that going back this time round will feel more like a tourist than a Singaporean.
I think I might as well pretend to be a tourist so at least, when I ask silly questions, people won't laugh at me. ![]()
BTW, do Singaporeans wear hats when it's hot?

Oh. At the MRT stations, right? I tend to take my favourite bus 106 to town though. See how... I should figure it out. Worse comes to worst, I'll just pretend to be a tourist and ask for help. ![]()

yup, get the ezylink at the station - can't remember how much the deposit was. you can use the card for both the trains and buses.
Y'know, the thought of heading back after all these years and hearing of so many changes makes me feel like a delicate field mice who'll drop dead at a single clap of thunder!
I think I'll end up calling av or elindra a lot when I'm trying to get about. ![]()
