Menkong River Cat is not necessary the biggest freshwater fish in the world
It just has the biggest verified recorded size confirmation
The Wels and Arapaima unverified records are much bigger than the Menkong.
The amazon is also bigger longer and much more unexplored than the Menkong so something might come out. Older records of the Wels and Arapaima are much bigger than the Menkong cat just that they can't be verified nia.
