i'm home.. after a long day...
there was something i was arrowed to schedule... scheduled smoothly... with the other people.. until the other main bastard decided to drop a bomb on us by saying that they needed 1.5 days instead of 1 day... and over the weekend when the other places require every warm body at work...
went to yell at them and was asked to "talk to the main guy" who was on leave and still on leave..
as if they are on leave is my problem! they can't get their acts together is my problem and i'm supposed to solve everything for them?
so i told them to call me tomorrow morning after they get their acts together...
aloha
a hola back atcha

As fate would have it, my family actually has free Starhub cable internet for one year (until August this year)..... unfortunately, without a router.....
So my sis actually bought a router and sent the Starhub signal through it..... it works perfectly.
Even after the techs fix up Mio, we figure that we might as well keep the Starhub signal on just in case Mio ever goes down again...... we might even continue subscribing to Starhub cable internet after it expires to be used as a backup (albeit on the cheapest possible plan).
Yeah, yeah I know..... using Starhub as a backup for Singtel Mio..... that's how screwed-up things are at the moment.....
*me continues calling down hellfire and brimstone onto Singtel*
that's screwed up..
i think the problem is with the fricken Mio thingy...
i'm using SingNet and i've got no problems with the normal connection
Normal Singnet is perfectly fine.....
Like I said in the daytime crapbox, the problem arises when you try to channel a phone line, cable TV, and the internet all through one single unit. Like it or not, the current technology just can't keep up with all that information overload.
Seriously if you can, just stick to Starhub for TV, and Singnet for the Internet. Mio is a nonsensical piece of crap that a million monkeys probably came up with when they got caged up in the same room....
they should just stick to one thing at a time
finally got home. hand tired from trying to swing a tennis racket

Singapore writer who writes in chinese. He backpacked all over the world with a photographer buddy of his.
"my knapsack on my back" - 背包走天涯 series is probably his most noted.
I loved his travelogues when I was in my teens. You can still get his books at popular, there are english translations around too but they are not very good.
