Just finished marking half of my students' test scripts.... my head's gonna implode....
Dang.... can't believe that I have four absentees out of a total strength of 50....
They had better have full documentation for their absenteeism, or they're screwed.....

how much does this test account for?not implying that it's ok to skip a test or exam.

10% of their total grade.....
Actually, even if they do have a valid excuse, they're still somewhat screwed.... that 10% weightage will then be assigned to their other CA requirements in that case....
Which is good if they did well for those requirements.... but if they didn't, then the negative effects will be worse....
