I'm not scheduled for the next two days. I'm going to try and be productive.

yah.. i think so.. anyway, he was being stubborn and insisted that he could come home on his own until he got scolded by mom.. and that's where i come in
singapore's usual hot and humid weather is getting more hot and humid coz of the time of the year... which is why fatum's worried about his aircon...

I just took it apart and put it back together again ..... I think the temp sensor is kaput .....

Here they won't let you get your eyes dilated unless you have a friend take you home. We get this done bi-annually to check for eye disease.
Don't know when I'll get to visit Sg. I'm just dreaming of the food.

Is this something you can fix on your own or do you need to call the expert? We have having some strange weather here. I have never seen so much rain in such over the past couple of months. Nick must think it's normal. lol. I haven't seen him in a month or so and I'm wondering if he's put on some weight. lol. Too bad he'll miss our annual county fair by 2 days.

hmmm... just had buffet at Pu Tien with zora and the ferret..
steamed grouper and what looked suspiciously like a small threadfin.. herbal prawn soup... salted egg/egg white omelette.. sea cucumber and mushrooms in claypot.. yum yum
but they took off a few things in the menu

Hmmmmmmmm...... not that food here isn't great. It's just that I miss my comfort foods. Man, what I wouldn't do for nice servings of hor fun, or luak, hokkien mee, lontong, mee siam, nasi lemak, laksa, chwee kueh, tau suan... why do I do this to myself?

talking about comfort food, a fortnight ago, i finally had appam again... after more than a decade... should have taken a pic of it...

Sensors sound like they need someone with training to fix. Good luck though.
In other news, the US is now going to start a new cash for clunkers program, this time for appliances. Can't wait for the stampede.

actually, i wonder if i can send some mee siam paste over?
coz the folks order the stuff from the wholesaler when the whole neighbourhood buys the stuff...
there's also mee rebus gravy paste, and laksa paste...
since it's a "bulk order" they even deliver it here

I suddenly feel it's not conducive to stay in Sengkang for now.
The LRT during peak hrs is like clusterfark even though it's 3 mins freq. Gotta wait till LTA procures more LRT trains as they've plans to make it double carriage.
