Some police NS fella died from heatstroke....
Apparently, he was already running a fever (he told his buddies), but refused to tell his commander and just joined in the training anyway. During the training, those buddies saw that he was struggling, but he insisted to them that he was fine.....
In the end, he collapsed and died of multiple organ failure from heatstroke....
Sigh.... would it be too cruel for me to do a facepalm?

Lack of time, and by the time I'm done with work I'm too shot to visit the gym.
Too much of a bother to have to bring gym clothes to school every time I want to use the gym as well.
Besides, much of my exercise time is on my running. It's only recently that I decided that some strength training needs to be thrown into the mix.

strength training helps, good to build up those quads and hamstrings.

My DS has a Pilates programme.... been trying out the basic exercises and slowly ramping up.....
That said, I don't think I'm doing it well, and a proper trainer would certainly be useful....
I'm just too miserly on both time and money to enrol in a proper Pilates course.
