Oh ya MPB is mulling over this work assignment to be stationed in Fiji
The reason he is not jumping at it is because the allowance is not that high and there is nothing in Fiji except for sun and sea and Hindu temples
I told him it’s great to go there to relax and go on diet since there is nothing to do there but temple visits and I doubt he can do much shopping so even with the lower allowance he will be actually earning much more.

if I were him I'd be stocking up on larger accurate reels and be dreaming of monster GTs and dogtooth tuna. ...

I told him about the fishing but he is not a catch and release person
He finds it pointless if he cannot bring back his haul
And he feels no point fishing too even if he gets lots of fish, there is no way he can bring them back!

actually on this issue on mother tongue, from what i gathered during my years of schooling i realised, that the chinese fare the poorest.
im quite sure i see the malays and indians do much better in their mother tongue even for the O lvls.
