  Okay..... just signed up for the StanChart Marathon....

  It's amazingly cheaper than Sundown and not much more expensive than AHM.....

  I'm pretty surprised it only cost $45 this time.... by way of comparison, the much-simpler AHM costs $38 to join even though the SAF has much greater resources with el cheapo labour at their disposal.......

  agree leh.

  must factor cost, manpower, venue, canopy and shelter, officials, license, security, block the roads (dunno need $ or not), liaison with bus company (divert buses away), advertisement/publicity, t-shirts/goodie bags, equipment, lotsa of ambulances and 1st aiders (1 ambulance +2 first aider is around $800cheapest), photographers/videographers, press liaisons, and erh.. many more?
