Yeah. End of the day, you still have to eat less. You need an average daily caloric deficit of about 500 to lose any significant weight.
So assuming that a person needs 2000 calories (and most people don't even need that much, especially females) to maintain his or her current weight, he or she should eat 1,500 calories daily for a week just to lose half a kilo. now that sounds really simple but how many people can even do that for a week. This is a rough estimation of course.
To put things into perspective:
1 mcdonalds upsize meal is about 1,300 calories
1 starbucks green tea ice frappucino is about 500 calories
1 slice of cheesecake is 250 calories
1 small glass(250ml) of marigold no sugar added orange juice is 93 calories
It all adds up very quickly.
And the average amount of calories burnt during a 5km run?
320 calories.
So I can run 5km everyday without a break and still get fat if I eat too much.
You can use cheat days to help you along, otherwise starvation mode will kick in at some point.
there ought to be a law against working on rainy mondays
Amazing busy last week... But somehow today I feel quite refreshed... must be becoz I know the worst is almost over...
morning everyone~~

I'm going to save this post so I can have some excuse not to do any exercise :P
Just now I took no.198 to go from Buona Vista to school.....
Basket.... the bus driver was so timid that the engine never went above 1st gear while at Buona Vista. The bus was crawling along so slowly that my normal jogging pace is even faster than it was.
I know it was the bus driver's fault and not the engine, because he managed to hit 2nd gear when the bus went onto the AYE. And that is still not saying much - 2nd gear (at around 30 km/h at that) on a major expressway with smooth traffic is still monstrous nonsense.

he was speeding and after that he was dragging it out so that he will not be penalised for being early at the depot..
i came across something like that long ago before i got a car.. it was a goddamned mobilisation on a saturday... i had M+6 to get there but i went to the driver and said that if he didn't travel faster to the MRT station, and i missed my mobilisation recall time, i'm going to cite him for being ridiculously slow...
he sped up

if not the above then the BC must be a newbie aka 1st day on the job..

me and my 2 uncle darters were sitting at a corner , laughing so hard that our tears fell..

good luck to you..those who may look sweet and innocent...
at the venue,
we can tell their real character, just observe how they rudely command and order their drinks / food from the service staff...
and whizz... in another spilt second, they put on the most innocent smile and awww,, the most fragile and timid creature in front of the male counterparts...
likewise, some lady friends i know are now slaughtering their boyfriends ...expensive gifts, expensive holidays, and yeah...maybe expensive wedding plans soon...![]()
there is always this saying: "one want to slaughter, one wanted to be slaughtered", makes great couple ..![]()
