Alrite everyone... Shld we have more makan outings??? ![]()
i give up talking to my friend..
remember the one who hasnt work for a couple of years and demanded good pay and easy job.
she found one near her house and worked only for 2 weeks.. she quitted because the boss wants her to courtesy call the customers' outlets (about 60) to check if their display is still okay...
she complained call 60 pple is too tiring...and that is during her office hours...
wow. you sure have patience. i would have given up on this person a long long time ago oredi.
yah. i will be free starting mid-july. acid, you still owe me fries from that fish fast food place leh. remember anot??!!!
HUH???? That’s an hour or 2 hour job
The call won’t even take 1 min. How difficult is it to call and ask if the display is ok.
I remembered the pay you said was very decent for the type of job that needs to be done. And I don’t think that is a daily call job right? Check if display is ok I think call once a week more than sufficient

not daily... just once whenever the display is changed.. ie..once every 2 weeks or more...
she thinks why cannot just email the outlet and sit back wait for reply.
i told it's good chance for her to PR with all the shops managers...it's networking, maybe she can find a better job next time... she said very tedious to talk to pple..

The HTC desire is not bad.... I don't think the Ericsson one is as great.... according to user reviews.

'Hi, this is Ms xxx from YYY Company. I just want to ask whether the displays that we sold you are still working fine.
Hmm.... no problems, you say? Okay, thank you very much!'
Total elapsed time: 30 seconds, maybe a minute if you need to get the manager. I was already doing things like this (and much more) back when I was a lowly-paid intern.

the Android phones don't come with the paid apps which are fantastic..
the free apps aren't that bad but they're pretty basic

dunno.. never seen them..
if it's like the iPhone app, they should be anywhere around $1 to $5 each
