they got a point there.. hospitals are notorious for being riddled with antibiotic-resistant germs...
but then, moving a patient to and from hospital is absurd as travel is very tiring for the patient
omg.
in any case, going off soon

Well, imo, being in a A Class high dependancy ward (single bed, double doors) seems safer... at least there are nurses ard...

probably not in singapore.
but i do know that in some places, there are laws that state that the employer has to let the employee take leave if he/she needs to take care of cancer patients.
but, like av said, you must insist that he stays. Unless you want to give your house a damn good cleaning before he gets home. Esp. if his immune is damn cos of chemo...

well, it's the cleaniness of the house I'm worried about... Afterall, with his immune sys down... I told my mom but she says it's okay >___> Well, ultimately she calls the shots...
I will have to close my room as my room is kinda dusty... My mother's room will have to be closed due to too much stuff... My bro's room is still okay clean as he got married a month ago...
I'll have a final argument later at the hospital, if my mom insist he can comes home then there's nthing I can do >____>

i hope it doesn't come to that...
the hospital... should go cry blue murder there...
and yah.. Singapore's labour laws, if they could get away with it, will probably make the worker compensate the employer for falling ill
time to piss off home.. and for the weekend.. it's started for me ![]()

tell your mom what *might* happen shld a cancer patient be exposed to umm...germs. give her the *he can die* bit. which can be true anyway.
And his room being clean is not enough. Utensils? What y'all use to cook, put his food in etc all need to be 'sterilized'. y'all need to change when you guys get home. I know of people who wore face masks at home (cos they didnt do much cleaning...). It is A LOT of work to take care of a cancer patient. Is your mother willing to put in the time etc. if your bro is at home? Does she know what it entails? At least in the hospital, if anything happens, the nurses and doctors can do something. At home, who will be responsible?

Yeah .. plus if acid's bro was in a high dependency ward, they should not let him discharge just because the doctor is out of town. But i think you can insist and they can't force you to discharge ..
Good Morning... Rise and Shine ![]()
Hope Acid managed to get his bro to remain in the hospital.. Sometimes really no choice... need to insist and kick up a fuss .... which hospital are u at?
morning
