this is food porn for me...
was talking to some people.. if they can get a rotating spit with good wood or charcoal fire, i'd go buy a pig and prepare it like Ibu Oka does... with lots of herbs and spices sewn into the pig and sit there for hours continually basting it with coconut water until the skin absorbs the coconut sugars and caramelises into a crisp seal which holds the juices inside to cook the meat in

of late I've become more and more into lamb and mutton ....
don't get me wrong, pork is great .....
but just not as flavourful as a properly done lamb or mutton haunch .....
the flavour .. Oooooooo
say .... maybe I'll get a whole roast lamb this year ? .... I have a lobang for that ... and it's surprisingly cheap !

i actually prefer goat...but lamb is good.. with mint sauce...
or maybe i'm just thinking of the sup kambing i had at Adam Road last weekend

I think lamb is better.
Not everyone can accept the taste of goat though I eat both.
I’m not even sure what to bring this time round.
